Tanna Schlader - She was our leading rebounder and scorer. Brooke Schumacher - We will miss her defense. Callie Mader - Starting point guard for three years.

Do you have any new incoming “impact” players?
Kyndahl Ulmer (5'11" senior) - Transfer from Kamiah. 2012 Player of the Year. Has already signed with LCSC.

As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Our speed and a mixture of height.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Shooting percentage and taking smart shots from the floor.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Defense is a group effort. I think our speed and full court press will be our strength.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Help-side defense and maintaining constant ball pressure.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
3 D's - Desire, Dedication and Determination.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
Watching my kids compete and grow individually.

Lapwai vs Prairie

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Teamwork

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
I would add a shot clock. All colleges play with one. I like how the speed of the game is constant.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
I love the fact of trying to be a positive influence in kids' lives and teaching them lessons on and off the court.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
The support of our community and the solid family base that our kids are raised in.
