Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
Turn 'Em Loose!

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
We have a lot of experienced players coming back. Hopefully we can play well enough late in the year to get to state for our seniors. I’ve coached many of our seniors since they were in middle school and it’s been a special group to move up with.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
All of our league games will be very competitive. Any of those should be must-see. Any team in our league could beat another team on a given night.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Improving our shooting percentages and playing as a team.

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
Shot clock for sure. We want the game to move faster.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
I love working with kids. The kids in our program are special. Kellogg is where I grew up, and I love it here.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Our fans ride the highs and lows with the athletes. Our fans are the best around. Our kids are exceptional, too. We have so many quality kids in our program. I look forward to practice every day because I get to spend time with quality individuals. I’m also very blessed in that I have the best assistant coach in north Idaho, in my opinion. Keith and I work well together and feel we are moving the program in the right direction.
