21
The "Blackjack" number is from a USC Trojan and KC Chief from the 60's. Do you know who that is?

The number 21 was a very important number in our lives because it signaled the beginning of our adult life.  In sports, it brings to mind two players for me.  One is Michael Cooper of the Showtime Lakers from the 1980’s. (They’re not booing, they’re saying Coooooooooop!) They were fun to watch, weren’t they?  But alas, I cannot go with Coop.  No, I must go to my favorite college team: The USC Trojans.  When I was in high school, Mike Garrett was a Heisman winning running back for USC.   He wore #20 for the Trojans, but when he was drafted by the KC Chiefs, he switched to #21. He won a Super Bowl in 1969 when his Chiefs upset the Minnesota Vikings 23-7 on January 11, 1970.  He was the first back who started the term “tailback U” for USC.

#20 is up next on the horizon for tomorrow.  See ya then!
