What is the deal with repetitive league names in high schools in Idaho?  Can’t we come up with a few new ones so different leagues don’t have the same name? Like the 2A WIC (Western Idaho Conference) and the 1A WIC.  How about the 5A SIC (Southern Idaho Conference) and the4A SIC?  There’s the 5A and 4A Inland Empire League up north.  Don’t forget the5A and 4A High Country Conference.  There’s one more: The 3A and 2A South East Idaho Conference.

If the two leagues with the same name can’t decide which one will change, flip a coin.  Winner gets their pick to change or stay the same.  I have compiled a top ten list of new league names they can choose from.

10 TVC (Treasure Valley Conference)

 9  FPL (Famous Potato League)

 8  GSC  (Gem State Conference)

 7  YRL (Young Republicans League)

 6  RNC (Red Neck Conference)

 5  PHL (Pan Handle League)

 4  LCC (Low Country Conference) could also be called the  FLL (Flat Lander’s League)

 3  FHL (Forked Horn League)

 2  WPC (Whistle Pig Conference)

 1  BOPL (Birds of Prey League)
