How did you first get interested in your sport?
I started to love it at a young age and soon made up my mind right then — this is what I want to do for as long as possible.
What other sports do you enjoy?
I play football and basketball, but I love football. It has always been my number one sport, and I’d say I’m pretty good at it.
What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned from high school sports?
They teach you how to work hard and persevere. They also teach you to be tough and how to be a team player.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
My dad once told me that if I put my heart and mind to what I want, I can achieve anything I want.
What has been your favorite high school memory so far?
So far, it would be making varsity and going to battle with my brothers beside me. But soon, my favorite memory will be winning the state championship.
What coaches or teachers have made an impact on your career?
Ever since I was growing up, all my coaches and teachers were huge supporters. I couldn’t just pick a few, I am very grateful for all of them.
Which teammates have you really connected with during high school?
I have always been close to my boys Tyler and Owen. But recently, I have had the chance to bond and connect to some other boys like Cash and Haden.
Is there anyone in your family who helped you get to where you are today?
My mom and dad have helped me out tremendously! My grandparents have also been incredibly supportive throughout my career.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
How hard I work for things and how much time and effort I put into developing my skills on the football field.
What are you looking forward to as the season comes to a close?
Winning the state championship with the people I love beside me.
