The 5A and 4A Southern Idaho Conferences jointly agreed to suspend their high school sports season for two weeks Sunday night.
The decision came as schools throughout the Treasure Valley saw varied responses to the spread of the coronavirus. But a joint call by superintendents in the Southern Idaho Conference led to the postponement of all spring sports until March 30, said Tom Shanahan, the president of the league.
