The beginning of the end is here. The end of the hoops season, that is.

Once again, we at IdahoSports.com are looking very much forward to our coverage of the boys edition of the Real Dairy Shootout. From live and free audio streams to continually updated brackets to action photos and more, we couldn't be more thrilled to bring the tournament to you. We also have plenty of articles for you to read online, including team previews, a remarkable story of sportsmanship, and what the tournaments would look like if they were seeded using RPI.

I'll be at the 2A tournament at Capital High School after spending the last four tournaments at the 3A tournament. I'm very much looking forward to the excellent basketball that awaits.

As is tradition, a few of us here at IdahoSports.com post our daily predictions as to who we think will move on in each round. Sven Alskog and I have had a friendly rivalry with our game picks each year as well - and as he mentions in his picks for Day 1, we ended up tied after the girls state tournament.
