Offensive strengths/areas for improvement: We should be big on the offensive line and have a good running game. Our quarterback is an athlete who moves well in the pocket and can also be a threat running the ball. We are a young team that lacks varsity experience.
Defensive strengths/areas for improvement: We have a solid linebacker crew that will pursue to the football. Again, we are young and lack varsity experience.
Special team Strengths: Kicker Connor Williams should be an asset. We need to improve our punt team.
Offensive Outlook: We have a group of talented players who should be able to make some big plays during the season. We will provide a balanced attack of run and pass.
Defensive Outlook: We have a young group of players with a few returning starters, but have a talented group of new players stepping in. We have a lot of athletes who can make plays on the defensive side of the ball.
Conference Outlook: Our conference is very tough. We will be looking at chasing down the two-time defending IEL champion Lewiston Bengals. Lake City and Post Falls always field competitive teams. It should be dogfight.
Coach's Team Summary: Coming off two disappointing seasons we are excited about the kids we have. We feel that we can be very competitive in the league.
