Offensive strengths/areas for improvement:
We need to get better up front on the offensive line quickly. Our strength is returning our QB, who is a smart player. We should be able to run the ball well this year. We need to improve our passing game.

Defensive strengths/areas for improvement:
Our defensive strength is that the middle of our defense should be solid. We need to get better at the DE positions and should have some young kids competing for those spots.

Offensive Outlook:
We have some great returning players. Tailback Don Hazzard (won state track titles in 100, 200, 400 and 4x400), is a fast kid who can be very physical. David Forester will be moving positions on offensve to help us out, and our quarterback Scott Grasser did a great job for us as a Sophomore last year. We need to shore up spots on the offensive line quickly.

Defensive Outlook:
Again, we return some talented kids and add Mike Timmons at DB and Logan Mesia at LB. We expect to be physical.

Conference Outlook:
Like nearly every year our conference is extremely tough. Teams like Council, Notus and Tri-Valley will be very good. Rimrock is always a team that we have trouble with, and they will be much improved over last year. Horseshoe Bend has a great tradition over there and they will be much improved as well. Lots of teams have an opportunity this year to be in the playoffs and represent our conference very well.

Coach's Team Summary:
I feel like we can be competitive within our conference and hope to surprise a couple of teams. We have not always been really consistent, and that is something that we will focus on this year, playing at a consistently high level.
