After all the build-up for the regular season, the anticipation of rivalry games, and the lead-up to the playoffs... Idaho High School football closes the 2013 chapter this weekend at three sites around the state.

This is a great opportunity for these high school athletes to showcase their hard work and dedication to the game they love on the biggest stage yet. Four games this weekend are rematches from either regular season contests or previous playoff pairings. Each game this weekend represents some of the best football the state has to offer.

And, of course, if you can't get to these various games around the state, don't worry! IdahoSports.com has you covered with state championship broadcasts and action photo galleries from all six games!

I feel fortunate to have the privilege to call four of the six state championships alongside Paul Kingsbury this weekend. He's gonna be sick of me by the time we're done driving and broadcasting this weekend. I'll be at the Kibbie Dome with Paul on Friday night for Highland/Coeur d'Alene, followed by three games at Holt Arena the next day with Paul and Lorin Jensen.

A lot of preparation has been put into these games by everyone involved and we hope that you enjoy these games this weekend. Well, you better enjoy them... it's the last local high school football we get to see until next fall.
