6A Third Place Game | Madison 49, Coeur d’Alene

No. 6 Madison prevailed on a game winning shot to defeat Coeur d’Alene for Third Place in 6A Girls Division. In a game that featured eight lead changes and eight ties, Madison scored in double figures in each quarter, while outrebounding the Vikings by 16. 

The game winner was made by Mia Walsh, who earned the IdahoSports.com Player of the Game honor. She had 19 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Nora Waddoups added 15 points and 6 rebounds for the Bobcats on an efficient 6/13 shooting. 

The Vikings were led by Brookslee Colvin with 14 points and Natalie Semprimoznik with 12 points and 4 rebounds.

6A Consolation Final | Borah 56, Rigby 50

No. 4 Borah defeated No. 7 Rigby to secure the 2025 6A Girls Consolation Championship. Borah led 15-8 after the first quarter and continued to extend it all the way to the fourth quarter, which was the only quarter they lost. The Lions also shot 10/17 from beyond the arc.  

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Kya Davis had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lions. Nakiyia Percell was a perfect 5/5 from the field scoring 18 points and adding 4 rebounds. Joining Davis and Percell in double figures was Abi Howington with 10 points. 

Bailey Barber had 21 points to lead all scorers and added 5 rebounds. Kinzley Larsen chipped in with 14 points.


5A Third Place Game | Mountain Home 40, Blackfoot 36

No. 2 Mountain Home overcame a six point fourth quarter deficit to secure the Third Place trophy in 5A Girls over No. 4 Blackfoot. Blackfoot led by as many as 11, but only scored 5 points in the fourth quarter compared to the Tigers 15.

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Juli Donez had 11 points and 6 rebounds. Other key contributors for the Tigers were Ava Johnson with 9 points, Payton Blodgett with 8 points, and Lexi Longhurst with 7 points. Kloey Borgen led the team in rebounding with 7. 

Lauren Christensen and Jaci Capson each had 10 points to lead the Broncos. Capson added 6 rebounds, and Addison Turner had 9 points and 9 rebounds for Blackfoot who won the rebounding margin by 10, but committed 8 more turnovers than the Tigers. 


5A Consolation Final | Jerome 41, Skyline 33

No. 7 Jerome defeated No. 5 Skyline to win the 5A Consolation Final. Jerome led 11-8 after the first quarter, but Skyline came storming back to take a halftime lead of 21-15. The third and fourth quarters were both won by a score of 13-6 in favor of Jerome leading to their victory. 

In this game, there were Co-IdahoSports.com Players of the Game. Jensen Cook had 18 points and 5 rebounds while going 8/12 from the free-throw line. Emma Allen added 6 points and a monster 15 rebounds for the Tigers. Other key contributors were Sawyer Gerrard with 7 points and 8 rebounds, along with Nyla Holtzen with 6 points. 

Shay Shippen led the Grizzlies with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ella Price chipped in with 7 points and 5 rebounds.  


4A Third Place Game | Timberlake 39, South Fremont 33

No. 4 Timberlake defeated No. 3 South Fremont for the 4A Girls Third Place trophy. An even back and forth battle throughout the first three quarters was broken by Timberlake as they outscored South Fremont by 6 in the fourth. This game saw 10 different lead changes and 5 ties, with each team shooting nearly an identical shooting percentage. The difference may have been at the free throw line as the Tigers shot 15 for 26, compared to the Cougars’ 3 for 5. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Diana Nelson was the only Tiger to crack double figures with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Jozee MacArthur scored 9 points, and both Marissa Needs and Malia Miller added 7. 

Brianne Bailey led all scorers with 12 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Hayden Larson nearly had a double-double of her own with 9 points and 11 rebounds for the Cougars. 


4A Consolation Final | McCall-Donnelly 46, Kimberly 41

No. 7 McCall-Donnelly defeated No. 5 Kimberly to win the 2025 4A Girls Consolation Championship. The Vandals trailed 29-31 heading into the 4th quarter, but were able to use a 17 point fourth quarter to secure the victory. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Lexie Arnold paced the Vandals with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Emma Ormsby added 10 points and 7 rebounds as well. The Vandals won the rebounding battle by 9 and had a +2 turnover difference. 

Taya Plew had 15 points to lead the Bulldogs. Brooklyn Verwey added 10 points and 3 rebounds.  


3A Third Place Game | Melba 53, Grangeville 47

No. 3 Melba put up 40 second half points on their way to a Third Place trophy defeating No. 4 Grangeville. The Mustangs shot only 5/23 in the first half, but cleaned it up in the second half going 13/29 from the field, including 6/11 from beyond the arc. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Tariah Carter led Melba in scoring with 15 points, 9 of which came at the free throw line. She also added 3 steals and 2 blocks. Darby Lowber added 13 ponts, while Kali Adams chipped in with 12 points, all of which were three pointers. 

Addisyn Vanderwall had a double-double and led all scorers with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Caryss Barger joined Vanderwall in double figures with 15 points. 


3A Consolation Final | New Plymouth 74, North Fremont 70

No. 6 New Plymouth defeated No. 8 North Fremont to win the 3A Consolation Final. In this game, the Pilgrims led from wire to wire and scored double figures in each quarter. The Huskies also scored double figures in each quarter, but an eight point deficit in the first quarter proved to be the difference. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Macy Christenson had 23 points on 8/13 shooting and netted 4 three-point shots. Laci Eagy and Sam Withers each added 10 points for the Pilgrims.

Peyton Lenz had 24 points on 10/20 shooting and Taylor Sessions added 21 on 9/19 shooting, along with 3 steals. 


2A Third Place Game | Valley 60, Lapwai 50

No. 3 Valley captured the 2025 2A Girls Third Place trophy with a victory over No. 5 Lapwai. Valley led the entire game, with the exception of two ties, and had a lead as big as 12. Both teams scored in double figures in each quarter. Valley shot 35% from beyond the arc, while Lapwai shot 24%. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Lexi Huettig had 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Joanie Lewis cracked double figures with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Alora Godfrey added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the Vikings. 

The Wildcats were led by Madden Bisbee who secured a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Skylin Picard who also had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Amasone George also chipped in with 9 points and 4 rebounds for Lapwai. 

2A Consolation Final | Butte County 73, Lakeside 35

No. 4 Butte County defeated No. 6 Lakeside for the 2025 2A Girls Consolation Championship. The Pirates scored double figures in every quarter and full court pressed nearly the entire game putting up 73 points in total. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Paige Williams had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Cambree Lyon led the Pirates in scoring with 17 points and added 6 rebounds as well. Brynn Anderson also had double figures with 13 points. 

Kimberly Pluff had 12 points to lead the Knights and Laila Charlie chipped in with 7 points.

1A Third Place Game | Carey 42, Salmon River 38

In a game that saw 10 different lead changes and 7 ties, No. 2 Carey was able to hold off No. 5 Salmon River for the 1A Third Place trophy. The largest lead of the game went to Carey which was only a five point lead, as this one was close throughout its entirety. The only real difference on the stat sheet was the free throw line. The Panthers went 18/27 and the Savages went 7/18, resulting a +9 advantage from the charity stripe for Carey. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Andie Simpson had 16 points along with 8 rebounds. Paige Black added 8 points and Ali Simpson chipped in with 7 points and 5 rebounds for the Panthers. 

Taylor Ewing led all scorers with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Rylee Walters added a double-double performance of 14 points and 11 boards, along with 2 blocks for the Savages. 

1A Consolation Final | Challis 43, Dietrich 33

No. 6 Challis won the 1A Consolation Final with a victory over No. 4 Dietrich. Challis got off to a hot start leading 11-4 after the first quarter, and won every quarter with the exception of the fourth quarter, which they lost by one. 

IdahoSports.com Player of the Game Jalie Oerke had 14 points and 5 rebounds to lead the way for the Vikings. Taylor Redick added 11 points and 7 rebounds. 

Kaitlyn Wannamaker had a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Blue Devils, who shot 3/32 from beyond the arc. Ada Bingham chipped in with 7 points.
