As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
We will have a nice sized line this season which is unusual for us. We are a run based team and the kids on the line are strong and very experienced.
Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
We need to improve our PATs.
As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Our Defensive Line should be very experienced as well as our secondary.
Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Create more turnovers.
What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
Its a veteran group which allows you to speed up the learning curve a little bit.
For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
I think our 1st game against Firth has become one of the states best rivalry games. (Editor's note: IdahoSports.com will be web casting this game live!)
What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
As with all 2A schools we have to avoid injuries. Also, this team has more than enough talent, but we need better team chemistry.
Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
I love to compete and as an old man who can’t play anymore this is my next best option.
What makes your school the best place to coach for?
The community raises great kids and the administration is very supportive.
