As a team, what are your offensive strengths? Morgan Kerby can get to the basketball effectively. Braden Smith is a great shooter. DJ White is a terrific all around threat who can score from outside or inside. We should be pretty balanced this season as far as scoring goes.
Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year: We hope to improve our free throw percentage and our field goal percentage.
As a team, what are your defensive strengths? Morgan Kerby is a very good perimeter defending and Wyatt Hardin should bring an inside defensive presence.
Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year: We hope to improve our defense in all aspects from last year.
What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team? We have a fairly young team mixed in with just a couple of upper classmen. It should be fun to see the interaction between the two.
For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule? League wise, we of course always look forward to our battles with Nezperce. Summit should also be a tough league contest along with Logos, who is new to our league. Non-league, we always look forward to our battles with Troy, Genesee, and Lapwai.
What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team? As long as we can play aggressive and together, we should be in the thick of things.
What makes your school the best place to coach for? We have some of the greatest student athletes and young people around.
