As a team, what are your offensive strengths? We fast break and go to the goal well. Some of our patrons coined the name “Controlled Chaos” for our fast break. We shoot the ball well most of the time, Vance Perron, Jacob Dalton and Trey Dill all scored over 300 points each last year, with Trey leading at 13.1 ppg. Chandler Tew shoots the ball well and Cooper Astle runs the offense. Hazen Weber, Aaron Smith, Austin Fenstermaker run the floor well and Liam Bingham takes care of the ball. Ignacio Ramirez goes to the goal well.
Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year: We would like to be more consistent shooting the ball and improve our secondary break by making good decisions at the end of the break.
As a team, what are your defensive strengths? Cooper Astle, Chandler Tew and Jacob Dalton are shut down defenders. Trey Dill and Austin Fenstermaker are strong on the boards.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team? Developing good team chemistry
If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be? Do away with the mercy rule. Coaches that play all their kids whenever possible don’t need one.
Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball? I enjoy teaching basketball skills and am grateful to be able to do so. It’s very gratifying to watch young players develop and be able to be competitive with other good players.
What makes your school the best place to coach for? We have good kids to work with
