Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Offense is where we struggled at times last year. We would have long stretches without scoring. This off season we really worked on our abilities to shoot and score. Had a good summer, and have high expectations for us offensively this season.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Our defense is what got us to the state tournament last season, and again this year it should be our strength. We take great pride in taking away teams first and second options. We will defend.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
Seeing the hours spent in the off season play off on the court.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Any time Post Falls plays against Lake City or Coeur d’Alene High it is a must see. No greater rivalries in the state. Not even close.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
How well we shoot from the perimeter

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
Shot clock – we play about half of our schedule in Washington and the games have so much more flow. Also, end of quarters, halves and games are played much differently. My players and I prefer playing with it.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
The mental competition against the other coaches. I also really enjoy pushing my athletes to levels they never thought they could reach.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Post Falls community supports us always, and our school administration supports us and allows us every opportunity to be successful.
