The Idaho High School Activities Association has announced the 2016 Fall Sports Academic State Champions. This award is presented to the varsity team in each classification that achieves the highest cumulative grade point average.
Schools from District Three won 9 individual awards, followed by District Six with 8, District Four with 5, District Five with four, and District Two with two. District One did not garner any awards.
There were repeat winners in different sports as well, including Highland, Madison, Century, Bishop Kelly, Sugar-Salem, and North Star Charter.
McCall-Donnelly also posted a perfect team GPA in boys cross-country with a 4.000 with several schools not far off.
There are six categories during the fall sports season, which are listed below. Each category is then broken down by classification with the GPA of each winning school.
