Viewership for Girls’ State Tourney jumps
Over 275,000 people watched live online webcasts over the weekend
KUNA, ID(2/15/2016) – More than 275,500 people tuned in to live IdahoSports.com web casts of the 2016 IHSAA Girls Real Dairy Shootout over the weekend, a massive jump from the 2015 edition of the event.
Last year’s Girls Real Dairy Shootout state tournament drew 193,700 viewers, meaning over 80,000 more people took advantage of IdahoSports.com’s free webcasts in 2016.
Three webcasts drew over 10,000 viewers, led by the 3A state championship game between Timberlake and Marsh Valley (10,899). The 2A title tilt between West Jefferson and Soda Springs was next at 10,845 followed by the 5A championship game between Mountain View and Centennial (10,386). The 4A championship game between Century and Bishop Kelly just missed hitting the milestone as well, checking in with 9,084 viewers.
The most-viewed non-championship game was the 4A semifinal matchup between Bishop Kelly and Minico, which drew 8,934 viewers. Here’s a list of the next five, rounding out the top ten, most-viewed games of the 2016 IHSAA Girls Real Dairy Shootout:

10) 2A Semifinal, West Side vs. West Jefferson (6,585)
