New Plymouth 57,Wendell 45

Brittany Verigan scored 15 points as New Plymouth overcame adouble-digit deficit to eliminate Wendell.

The Pilgrims trailed 24-12 early in the second quarter butscored 34 of the game’s next 44 points to go up 12 themselves early in thefourth quarter.

Courtney Butler scored 14 points and Taylor Frates added 11for New Plymouth.

Wendell was led by 11 points apiece from Kassidy Lukesh andLupita Vargas.

Kadee Jo Simmons scored 11 points and Kaycee Smith added 10as Soda Springs reached the state championship game.

The Cardinals had just 2 points after the first quarter butenjoyed a 38-19 edge the rest of the way.

Madison Brown scored nine points in the loss forGrangeville.

Sicilee Williams scored 20 points to lead Ririe past rivalFirth and back to the championship game.

The game was tied after three quarters but the Bulldogsoutscored the Cougars 15-4 in the final eight minutes to dethrone thechampions.

Brooke Griffith added 10 points for Ririe.

Bailey Nelson had 14 points and seven rebounds in the lossfor Firth.
