Football

Shelley at Skyline
7:00 PM Friday
Watch Live

After a 5-0 start to the season, Shelley lost two straight games to a Bonneville team that hadn't won a game since 2019, as well as a high-riding Pocatello team.  They rebounded nicely by beating Blackfoot in double overtime on the road last week, but to truly prove they are a contender, they'll need to beat Skyline.  Don't be fooled by the Grizzlies' 4-4 record.  Three of their four losses were by a single possession.

Twin Falls at Minico
7:00 PM Friday
Watch Live

The Great Basin Conference title is on the line when Twin Falls and Minico meet on Friday night.  The Bruins have only a single blemish on their record.  That came in a 21-14 non-conference loss to Pocatello.  The Spartans are undefeated and have been the unanimous number one team in the 4A Media Poll for several weeks now.

Gooding at Kimberly
7:00 PM Friday
Watch Live

Kimberly is coming off of a stunning loss to Buhl and things won't get any easier when Gooding comes to town on Friday.  The Senators have been on a roll this season with an undefeated record that includes three wins over 4A opponents.  They'll look to cap off an undefeated regular season when they travel to Kimberly.

Firth at North Fremont
7:00 PM Friday
Watch Live

The 2A Nuclear Conference title will be on the line when Firth and North Fremont, both undefeated in conference play, clash on Friday night.  The Huskies enter with an undefeated record overall, while the Cougars have stumbled once this season.  That loss came at the hands of undefeated two-time defending state champion West Side in an overtime game that was also a rematch of last year's 2A state championship.  Firth will need to win in a challenging road environment if they are to earn a favorable playoff seed and avoid seeing West Side any earlier than the championship game.

Oakley at Raft River
7:00 PM Friday
Watch Live

No opponent has come within 20 points of Oakley this season as the Hornets have made it look easy all year long.  A similar statement can be made about Raft River as they have beaten all of their opponents by at least 18 points.  Oakley will face a challenge like no other this year when they travel to Raft River trying to lock up another conference title and proving they are the frontrunners for a second consecutive state title.

Dietrich at Carey
7:00 PM Friday
Watch Live

Carey survived a scare from Castleford last week and proved why they are still among the cream of the crop at the 1A Division 2 level.  Dietrich has looked great against several opponents this season, but losses against Butte County and Castleford showed that the Blue Devils are still a notch below some of the top teams.  They'll try to re-enter the discussion of being among the state's top teams by knocking off the Panthers Friday night.

Rocky Mountain at Mountain View
7:00 PM Friday
Listen Live

The 5A SIC Championship Game will provide a rematch of an early season showdown.  Mountain View knocked off Rocky Mountain on the road 26-20 in August.  Because of that win, the Mavericks now get to host the rematch on their home field.  The Grizzlies enter this contest hoping to avenge their only loss so far this season.  They'd also like to win the 5A SIC for a second consecutive season.

Lakeland at Sandpoint
7:00 PM Friday
Listen Live

Sandpoint has proven that their run to the state semifinals last season was no fluke as they have gone 3-1 against 5A Inland Empire League teams this season.  Their only loss is to undefeated 3A power Homedale.  Lakeland, meanwhile, has improved from last season and can win the 4A Inland Empire League by knocking off Sandpoint.

Lapwai at Potlatch
7:00 PM Friday
Listen Live

While a conference title may be out of reach at this point, both Lapwai and Potlatch are looking to avoid losing their third game of the season, as both enter with 5-2 records.  While Prairie has locked up the 1A Division 1 White Pine League title, these two will still have a lot to say about playoff seeding when they meet on Friday.

Lewiston at Coeur d'Alene
7:00 PM Friday

The Lewiston Bengals are a single point away from a perfect season as they dropped a 42-41 decision to Sandpoint earlier this year.  Coeur d'Alene must win on Friday night if they want a shot at adding another conference title to their storied history.  They are also fighting for their playoff lives after a shocking 32-27 home loss to Post Falls last week.

Nampa Christian at Cole Valley Christian
7:00 PM Friday

Nampa Christian made a statement with last week's 40-20 win over Melba.  They now head to Cole Valley Christian seeking a conference title.  The Chargers started the season 3-0, but then dropped two straight contests to West Side and Melba.  That was followed by two straight wins over Marsing and New Plymouth.  Cole Valley wants to keep building that momentum as they approach the playoffs.
