In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Idaho High School Activities Association announced adjustments to this year's winter state tournament slate. 

While dates for 5A through 2A basketball tournaments remain the same, the IHSAA bumped up the dates for the 1ADI and 1ADII playoffs. The girls 1ADI and DII tournaments begin Feb. 17 and conclude Feb. 19. The rest of the classifications will begin play Feb. 18 and finish Feb. 20. For boys, state begins March 3 and finishes March 5 for the 1As, with the other classifications playing March 4 through March 6.

The IHSAA also adjusted tournament site locations. Schools in the Boise School District often hosted multiple tournaments games, including consolation championships. This year, schools in West Ada and beyond will take up the mantle. The full list of tournament locations can be found below. 

Additionally, wrestling state tournaments will take place in one day for specific classifications at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. The 5A and 4A classification will compete Feb. 26, with 3A and 2A taking the mat Feb. 27.
