Lakeside will be looking to bounce back this season with a new coach running the program. Having spent 32 years coaching in Northern California, Coach Robert Wolcott will be looking to bring his experience and guidance to his new team.

Coach Walcott speaks highly of the depth and athleticism of his team. Included are senior returners Takoda Abrahamson, Bryar Sanchez, and AJ Bighead (each player was a All-North Star selection). Emphasizing the importance of team and needing every player to do their part, Coach Wolcott likes the depth. With so much depth, Lakeside will be looking to push the tempo and play fast, playing as many players as possible.

“Our team is so deep that everyone has the ability to score,” beams Coach Wolcott.

Wolcott is high on incoming players Alex Pakootas, Jordan Davison, Tyrell Ambro, and Wakiza Vasser who will complement the returning players very well. This season, Lakeside will see their fair share of challenges working to mesh players together, but the excitement will always be there. Coach Walcott is most looking forward to climbing the ranks with Lakeside.

“My goal is to try and bring success back to Lakeside through working with these young men,” comments Wolcott.

Tempo and pressure is the way to build and make it fun. Fans should jump on board early and hang on for the rise as Coach Wolcott looks to build up his new program.
