Who do you have coming back this year?
Logan Feasline QB/DE 12, Josh Richmond WR/DB 12, Matt Smith TE/LB 12, Jordan McIntyre OL/DL 12, Jesse Harvey C/N 12, Mason Sines OL/DE 12, Chase Truscott RB/LB 11, Isaac Walters RB/LB 12, Austin Gladden WR/DB 12, Jacob Greer P 12,

Any “Key Players” that you lost from last year?
Luke Feasline QB/FS, Luke was our starting QB for the last three seasons and provided good leadership. Dillon Michael WR/DB, Dillon was our leading WR last year and was a good leader. Brad Macumber RB/LB, was our go to guy in the run game and leading tackler on defense.

As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
We have several kids to share touches with, which should make us a little more difficult to game plan for when playing our opponents. This team is very unselfish.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
To have less negative plays and have better third down efficiency.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
I really like the way we communicate and understand the defense.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
We missed way to many tackles last year.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
I really like the way this team works together and helps each other to get better.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
I think they are all going to be great games. The one that could have serious playoff seeding implications is our last game at home vs Orofino on Oct. 24th. We played so poorly last year against them.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
We need to stay away from the injury bug. That really changed our season for us last year.

If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be?
Intentional grounding. The rule is different from college and pro.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
I enjoy being around the kids first and foremost. It is very gratifying to watch how kids grow and mature from their freshman to senior seasons and know that you got to be a part of the growing process. I also really enjoy the game planning and strategy part of football.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
We have a great football field to play on, on Friday nights. When the kids get to run through the chainsaws before kick-off is a great way to get kids pumped up to play.
