Welcome to "Heavy Hitters", where each week, we'll highlight the top hitting performances across baseball and softball diamonds around the state of Idaho.
We will select one single-game hitting performance for each day of the week. Think of it as the best hitting line for that particular day.

BASEBALL
Peyton Showalter, 11, Marsing (Monday, April 20)
Showalter showcased a versatile all-around game in the Huskies' 22-15 victory over Vision Charter. The junior was 4-for-4 with a double and three singles. He also reached base on a walk and a hit-by-pitch, and finished with four RBIs, three stolen bases, and three runs scored.
Noah Bollman, 11, Genesee (Tuesday, April 21)
Bollman racked up two triples and two doubles as part of a 4-for-5 showing in Genesee's 25-24 win over Colton (Washington). He added nine RBIs, four runs scored, a walk and a steal to his total line.
MaCraye Bruning, 12, Kimberly (Wednesday, April 22)
Bruning socked a home run, drove in five runs, and scored three times himself as Kimberly defeated Buhl 27-7.
Conner Lee, 11, Twin Falls (Thursday, April 23)
Lee went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and a single as Twin Falls defeated Mountain Home 25-2. Lee added six RBIs and two runs scored.
Nate Bearsdall, 11, Timberlake (Friday, April 24)
Beardsall finished 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored as Timberlake defeated Bonners Ferry 9-4.
Wade Moser, 12, Troy (Saturday, April 25)
Moser was 3-for-4 with a double, eight RBIs, three runs scored, two stolen bases, and a walk as Troy moved past Lewis County 25-1.
SOFTBALL
Harper Kennedy, 9, Horseshoe Bend (Monday, April 20)
Kennedy swung a big stick in Horseshoe Bend's 31-12 win over Garden Valley. The freshman went 3-for-4 with a home run, two walks, eight RBIs, four stolen bases, and three runs scored.
Tessa Bryan, 11, Greenleaf Friends (Tuesday, April 21)
In Greenleaf Friends' 27-18 win over Notus, Bryan doubled, singled, walked four times, and was also hit by a pitch. Five of those seven trips on base led to Bryan scoring a run, and she drove in one run as well. The most impressive number from her line, though, were the 11 stolen bases she accumulated.
Brielle Biggs, 11, Preston (Wednesday, April 22)
Biggs was public enemy number one against Snake River in the Indians' 20-1 win. Biggs was a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs scored and an RBI.
Emma McGuire, 11, Blackfoot (Thursday, April 23)
McGuire hit for the cycle in Blackfoot's 18-2 victory over Idaho Falls. McGuire was 4-for-4 with a single, double, triple and home run. She added four RBIs and three runs scored.
Wesli Crockett, 12, Parma (Friday, April 24)
Crockett slammed two home runs as part of a 4-for-5 day overall as Parma moved past Melba 19-7. Crockett finished with six RBIs and four runs scored, also.
Taylin Beck, 12, Burley (Saturday, April 25)
Beck, an Oakley High student that plays for Burley (Oakley has no softball program) went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and a triple in the Bobcats' 19-1 win over Minico. Beck added eight RBIs, three runs scored, and a walk to her totals.
