Madness.
There's no way to describe some of the things we saw on Friday. From crazy game-winning tip-ins, to long-bomb game-clinching three pointers, to heavy underdogs upsetting the presumed favorite, and 1 vs. 2 matchups ending up in a slaughter, it was quite the day at the 'Real Dairy Shootout'.
Wanna do it all over again on Saturday? Who wouldn't!
Today, the final 18 games of the 2015-2016 boys basketball season will be played - let's enjoy them, all of them, while the season lasts. The hardware is up for grabs today and it should be a fantastic day of hoops. There's nothing like 'March Madness'.
The madness has not helped my own picks, however. The first day, I picked 20/24 games correct (a number I'll take - I can live with that). However, on Friday I chose poorly... very poorly. I only picked 15/24 games correctly in total. I remarked on Friday morning at how poorly I was picking the classification I was covering (3A). I vowed to predict winners better. That did not happen! I went 1/4 in my game picks for the 3A classification on Friday. Hopefully, I can redeem myself for the 'Super Saturday Selections'.
