The IHSAA has released the dates, times, and locations for most of the state football semi-final matchups happening between Nov. 13-15 at venues around the state.
Any state tournament matchup's date/time/location must be approved by the IHSAA before being made official.

*IHSAA policy states that when two teams from the same conference meet in the playoffs (outside of the state championship game), the higher seeded team will host, regardless of bracket placement. Fruitland is on top of the bracket, but Emmett is the higher seeded team, which is why Emmett will host.
**Even though West Side is on the top of the bracket and would normally host, they will travel for the semi-final game. IHSAA rules state that "in the semi final game for 3A/2A/1A classifications if both teams have traveled or if both teams were home in the quarterfinal round, the top team will be the host. If one traveled and one team did not in the quarterfinal, the host in the semi-final round will be the team that traveled in the quarterfinal round." West Side was the home team in the quarterfinal round vs. West Jefferson. Even though they did not play at home and chose to play at Holt Arena, they are still the home team and did not 'travel'. Grangeville's trip to play at North Fremont counts as 'traveling'. Since West Side hosted and Grangeville did not and since West Side is on the top of the bracket, which would normally force Grangeville to travel again, the host team is flip-flopped, and Grangeville will host. (Note: the first round or 'play-in' games do not count for this exception, as those games are not official IHSAA games in the 3A/2A/1A classifications).
