Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season? “Family”
What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team? This years juniors have won all the way up in our program. I am excited to see how their past success will help shape our team.
For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule? Nampa Vs. Caldwell. Over 100 years of rivalry. Caldwell has won the last two.
What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team? Can we stay healthy.
If you could change one rule in high school football, what would it be? Allow players to cut. This is a huge disadvantage when we play teams that we are “out-manned” against. Also, they can cut in college, so we are doing our players who are moving on a disservice not teaching them how to perform or defend that technique.
Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football? Coaching high school sports is a passion, not a profession. I love football.
What makes your school the best place to coach for? Our stadium, weight room, and practice facilities, I would hold up against anyone in the valley.
