Who do you have coming back this year?
Devin Krosowski (Guard 12 5’10”) Judd Buckingham (Guard 12 5’10”) Trey Zimmerman (Guard 11 6’) Kobe Zimmerman (Guard 10 6’)

Any “Key Players” that you lost from last year?
Casey Wilbur Point Guard will be missed for his leadership role and his ability to see the floor in transition. Bryan Frahm Senior wing that was mentally and physically tough. Lead the team in rebounding and scoring last season.

Do you have any new incoming “impact” players?
Nick Morgan: Freshmen Shooting guard that runs the floor well and is consistent from outside. Jose Sandavol: Inside presence that is physical under the basket.
As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Team depth will be strength this year. The bench is deep and all individuals can bring something to the floor for the team. Kobe Zimmerman is a sophomore with varsity experience that we will rely heavily on. His junior brother Trey Zimmerman will add size to our line up in the wing position. Devin Krasowski has four years of varsity experience and will be the team’s leader.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Scoring efficiency: Better consistency in our offensive scoring ratio per possession. Offensive rebounding and team free throw shooting.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
The basketball team has a tradition of playing aggressive man to man defense and putting pressure on the ball for 32 minutes. This is a strength that I wish to continue.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Team communication while on defense and overall defensive rebounding.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Every game should be a must-see-game of the year, but the Liberty vs Notus game on February 14th (Valentine Day) is the must see game for both the Notus athletes and the coaches.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
The intangible factor for most teams is the individual’s ability to understand and except their role on the team. They need to realize that the game is larger than just one athlete or coach, play the game with that mentality.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
Well you took away my top three reasons. Honestly, I coach basketball because of my respect for the game and respect for the students at Notus.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Notus high school has always had a tradition of competitive sports programs, supportive community, and dedicated teachers and administration. This is evident in the athletes that step out onto the floor and the student athletes that graduate from Notus. I can think of no school system, athletic program, or community that I can more proud to be a part of as the Notus School District.
