The Idaho High School Activities Association and its Board of Directors has approved the 2015 Milk Bowl site rotation for the upcoming state football tournament. The rotations were finalized at the recent IHSAA Board of Directors meeting in Boise
The six area districts in Idaho are combined into three regions for rotation purposes, and are as follows:
Districts 1/2 - North Region
District 3 - West Region
Districts 4/5/6 - East Region
The championship contests' location is determined by where each participating team is located in Idaho. To see the 2015 State Football Brackets for all six classifications, click HERE.
One scenario that is not discussed in the board meeting notes but should be explained is teams from the same region facing off against each other in the State Championship. In those scenarios, the two teams will play each other in the assigned stadium in their region. There was one example of this in 2014, when Aberdeen and West Side squared off in the state championship (both teams were from District 5 and played the state championship game at Holt Arena). The higher seeded team of the two squads participating are designated as the home team. The IHSAA does not allow championship games to be held in the same location two years in a row unless the two teams are from the same geographical region.
There is one potential conflict this year with any games scheduled to be held at Boise State's Albertsons Stadium. The Broncos host Air Force on Friday, Nov. 20, which would conflict with the state championships. As a result, any state championship contests scheduled to be played in Boise could be moved to nearby Dona Larson Park or Treasure Valley area high schools. Also, there is the potential of having the state championship contest(s) on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Albertsons Stadium.
With that, here are the 2015 Milk Bowl Site Rotations.
Class 5A
North vs. West: Kibbie Dome, University of Idaho, Moscow

East vs. West: Holt Arena, Idaho State University, Pocatello
Class 4A
