Highland and Coeur d'Alene.
The name of those two schools mentioned in the same sentence evokes feelings of excitement among football fans in Idaho. They know that the rematch is coming.
It's the Rams vs. the Vikings: version 3.0 live at Holt Arena and on IdahoSports.com at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Highland won Round 1 in Coeur d'Alene last season, a 45-26 victory. But the Vikings got even (possibly more than even) with a 45-38 victory in the 5A State Semi-Finals last season in Pocatello, knocking Highland out of the playoffs.
Both teams are back at it again tonight at Holt Arena. It's sure to be another close matchup as both sides didn't lose much from last season.
