Name: Clay Silva
School: Lighthouse Christian
Grade: Senior
GPA: 3.8
Sports: Football, Basketball, Track and Field
Positions: Slot Receiver/Shooting Guard/Sprints and Jumps
Other Hobbies: Hanging out with friends, watching sports, eating food

Do you have a nickname?  If so, how did you get it?

Silva Bullet.  I got the nickname "Silva Bullet" from my brothers because they were fast.  It was passed down to me when my older brothers graduated (Gage Silva in 2015 and Eric Silva in 2017.)

What is the best thing you have learned from playing sports in high school?

The best thing I have learned from playing sports in high school would be to never give up and always try to learn from your mistakes and get better from them.

Who is your favorite teacher?  And why?

Oooh, that's a toughy but I will have to choose Mr. Silvers.  He is my football coach and he teaches math as well.

What kind of car gets you around town?

My 2001 Nissan Maxima, it goes vroom vroom.  Also my dad's white Duramax.

You have an entire weekend with no plans.  What do you do?

Sleep in however long I can, watch some YouTube/Tik Tok and eat food.

If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

If I could meet someone right now, I would have to go with my homie Jesus.  He's pretty rad.

What is something most people do not know about you?

Something that most people do not know about me would be that I tend to listen to old music from the 50s and 60s eras.

Any thoughts on where you want to go to college?

Not going to lie, I have no idea quite yet but I will figure it out.  I would absolutely love to go to Boise State or to the Oregon Ducks because of the sick jerseys they have.

What is the best advice you have ever received and from who?

My best advice I ever received comes from Matthew 16:24-25 and it says, "Whoever wants to save their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for me will find it."

100 years from now, when your name is mentioned, how do you want to be remembered?

I would want to be remembered as the Christian Dude that helped a lot of people find a relationship with God.

Shout out: Feel free to give a personal shout out to anyone you want (family, friend, teacher, whomever.)

My grandma Kathy, she's the coolest grandma out there.
