There is only one automatic berth left to the state tournament and both Clearwater Valley and Kamiah are battling for it. Interestingly enough, Clearwater Valley plays at Kamiah this week. Here are the scenarios:
1. If Clearwater Valley beats Kamiah
Clearwater Valley takes seed 1-2C and Kamiah is eliminated from state contention.
2. If Kamiah beats Clearwater Valley
Kamiah takes seed 1-2C and Clearwater Valley is eliminated from state contention.
1AD1 District 3 - Western Idaho Conference

Wilder Wildcats
Still In Contention For Auto Berth

Rimrock Raiders
Notus Pirates
Both state tournament bids have been clinched by Idaho City and Wilder, respectively, however the seeding has not been determined. The results of this week's games will play a factor in that seeding: Idaho City is at Rimrock and Wilder hosts Notus. Here are the scenarios:
1. If Idaho City beats Rimrock and Wilder beats Notus.
Both Idaho City and Wilder are tied for first place. The tie is broken via coin flip, with the winner taking seed 3A and the loser taking seed 3B.
2. If Idaho City beats Rimrock and Wilder loses to Notus.
Idaho City takes seed 3A and Wilder takes seed 3B.
3. If Idaho City loses to Rimrock and Wilder beats Notus.
Wilder takes seed 3A and Idaho City takes seed 3B.
4. If Idaho City loses to Rimrock and Wilder loses to Notus.
Both Idaho City and Wilder are tied for first place. The tie is broken via coin flip, with the winner taking seed 3A and the loser taking seed 3B.
1AD1 District 4-5-6 - Snake River Conference
Total guaranteed berths to the state tournament: three.
Clinched Automatic Playoff Berth
Oakley Hornets
Valley Vikings
Still In Contention For Auto Berth
Challis Vikings
Raft River Trojans
Eliminated
Grace Grizzlies
Butte County Pirates
Glenns Ferry Pilots
In the Snake River Conference, Oakley and Valley have clinched playoff bids although we do not yet know where they will be seeded. Raft River and Challis are all still in contention. This week, Oakley plays at Raft River, Valley is at home against Grace, and Challis hosts Butte County. Here are the scenarios:
1. If Oakley wins, Valley wins, and Challis wins.
Valley takes seed 4-5-6A, Oakley takes seed 4-5-6B, Challis takes seed 4-5-6C, and Raft River is eliminated.
2. If Oakley wins, Valley wins, and Challis loses.
Valley takes seed 4-5-6A, Oakley takes seed 4-5-6B, Challis takes seed 4-5-6C, and Raft River is eliminated.
3. If Oakley wins, Valley loses, and Challis wins.
Oakley takes seed 4-5-6A, Valley takes seed 4-5-6B, Challis takes seed 4-5-6C, and Raft River is eliminated.
4. If Oakley wins, Valley loses, and Challis loses.
Oakley takes seed 4-5-6A, Valley takes seed 4-5-6B, Challis takes seed 4-5-6C, and Raft River is eliminated.
5. If Oakley loses, Valley wins, and Challis wins.
Valley takes seed 4-5-6A, and then there is a 3-way tie for second place between Raft River, Oakley, and Challis.
The tie broken be comparing the records of those three teams against the head-to-head record of the team directly above them in the standings. In this case, that team is Valley. Both Oakley and Challis lost to Valley, but Raft River beat Valley. Therefore, Raft River would take seed 4-5-6B. The head-to-head record between Oakley and Challis is then used to break the last tie and, since Oakley beat Challis, Oakley would take seed 4-5-6C and Challis would be eliminated.
6. If Oakley loses, Valley wins, and Challis loses.
Valley takes seed 4-5-6A, Raft River takes seed 4-5-6B, Oakley takes seed 4-5-6C, and Challis is eliminated.
7. If Oakley loses, Valley loses, and Challis wins.
There is a 4-way tie between Oakley, Raft River, Valley, and Challis as they share a 4-2 conference record.
The tie is broken by looking at the overall head-to-head records of the teams involved. In this scenario, Valley and Raft River would both have a 2-1 record against the teams in question while Oakley and Challis would both have a 1-2 record. Because of that, Valley and Raft River split off from Oakley and Challis in determining the tiebreaker. Since Raft River beat Valley and Oakley beat Challis in their respective head-to-head matchups, the final result is Raft River taking seed 4-5-6A, Valley taking seed 4-5-6B, Oakley taking seed 4-5-6C, and Challis being eliminated.
8. If Oakley loses, Valley loses, and Challis loses.
Raft River takes seed 4-5-6A, Valley takes seed 4-5-6B, Oakley takes seed 4-5-6C, and Challis is elminated.
