Twelve state semifinal football games were played last weekend all over Idaho. Every single game was audio-streamed live on IdahoSports.com between Friday and Saturday.

IdahoSports.com’s coverage Friday night included seven different broadcast teams doing live audio-webcasts. 61,647 listeners logged into listen from around the world. Saturday's coverage was made up of four games - one at Fruitland high school and a triple header at Holt Arena. 28,767 logged in for those four games.

90,414 listeners enjoyed the state semifinals live on IdahoSports.com!

Friday’s 4A semifinal match up between Skyline Grizzlies and the Skyview Hawks led the way in live listener numbers with 11,145.  On Saturday, 3A Shelley vs Kimberly netted 10,854 live listeners. The 5A semifinal game between Mountain View and Eagle garnered 10,149 live listeners.  8-man games held their own, receiving 19,206 live listeners between the four games.

“I was nervous to see how the fans would react to the audio-only web casts,” Kingsbury said. “I was very pleasantly surprised to see these numbers. We owe everything to the fans and the local advertisers who keep us in business doing these games.”

“We are having a blast doing these games and we hope it shows,” IdahoSports.com CEO/Owner Paul Kingsbury said. “I tell our guys to call the games like they would want to hear it. Don’t get fancy. Just have fun and give the folks at home a great broadcast. ”

IdahoSports.com expects to provide live and free audio-only broadcasts of all six state championship games next weekend.  The schedule of games will be updated HERE as game dates, times and locations are finalized by the schools, the venues and the Idaho High School Activities Association.
