Welcome to "Primetime Pitchers", where each week, we'll highlight the top pitching performances across baseball and softball diamonds around the state of Idaho.
We will select one pitching performance for each day of the week. Think of it as the best pitching line for that particular day.
Because the season began on a Wednesday, this weekly rundown will cover the previous week's Wednesday through Tuesday action.

Another day, another Grangeville Bulldog pitching his team to victory. This time, the Bulldogs defeated CIL rival Kellogg 30-0. In five innings, Williams allowed only two hits, while striking out nine and walking one.

SOFTBALL
LeeAnn Hartzell and Makiah Weideman, New Plymouth (Wednesday, March 26)
This dynamic duo combined for a no-hitter in the Pilgrims' 19-2 win over Garden Valley. Through five innings of work, one walk and three errors by the New Plymouth defense were the only blemishes on the day. The two runs allowed were both unearned.
Shae Jones, Timberlake (Thursday, March 27)

Traylee Reid, Rigby (Friday, March 28)
Rigby survived a wild, back-and-forth affair with High Country Conference rival Madison, earning a 9-8 win in extra innings. Reid pitched all eight innings in the victory, and although eight Madison runs came home, only three were earned. The rest can be chalked up to a pair of errors in the field. Reid struck out nine and walked one while allowing just four hits.
Danica Quinn, Rocky Mountain (Saturday, March 29)
The Grizzlies defeated Thunder Ridge 11-1, and Quinn went the distance in the pitcher's circle. Quinn allowed one run on four hits across five innings while striking out seven and walking one.
