5A Third Place Game | Mountain View 59, Madison 41
Mountain View outscored Madison 30-15 over the second and third quarters to cruise to a 59-41 win and take home third place in the 5A tournament.
Logan Haustveit led all scorers with 14 points for Mountain View (21-6), while Dyson Judd, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, added 12 and grabbed five rebounds.
Nash Humphreys scored 14 to lead Madison (19-8).
5A Consolation Final | Owyhee 59, Eagle 49
Liam Campbell scored 22 points to lead Owyhee to a 59-49 win over fellow SIC foe Eagle in the consolation final Saturday morning.
Owyhee (21-6) also got eight points from Reece Sasser-Gunson as Campbell was named the Idaho Sports Player of the Game.
Landon White scored 19 points to lead Eagle (17-11). Russell Gibson added 11.
4A Third Place Game | Blackfoot 69, Skyview 46
Javonte King scored 28 points as Blackfoot defeated Skyview 69-46 in the 4A third place game Saturday morning.
King, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, also added 10 rebounds for Blackfoot (16-11). Ryan Reynolds added 17 points.
King established new Class 4A State Tournament records for most total points in a tournament (85), most made field goals in a tournament (33) and best scoring average (28.3 points per game). However, two of those records (most points and best scoring average) were broken by Pocatello's Julian Bowie several hours later during the 4A state championship game.
Skyview (19-9) was led by Elroy Chaparro with 16 points.
4A Consolation Final | Twin Falls 32, Minico 30
Twin Falls rallied from five points down in the fourth quarter to knock off Minico 32-30 in the 4A consolation finals Saturday morning.
Will Preucil scored 14 points to lead Twin Falls (17-10) and win Idaho Sports Player of the Game honors.
J.T. Garza tallied 11 points to lead Minico (16-11).
3A Third Place Game | Teton 68, Snake River 58
Teton went on a 23-7 run in the third quarter to build a 21-point lead heading into the fourth quarter and held off Snake River 68-58 in the 3A third place game Saturday afternoon.
Brody Hess, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, scored 16 points and snared six rebounds to lead Teton (23-7), while Jarom Heuseveldt led the team in scoring with 17 points. Thomas Heuseveldt and Max Thomas added 11 points each.
Snake River (19-7) was led by Luke Higginson and Marcus Coombs with 19 and 18 points, respectively.
3A Consolation Final | Fruitland 67, Buhl 51
Luke Barinaga scored 17 points to lift Fruitland past Buhl 67-51 in the 3A consolation final Saturday morning.
Barinaga, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, also grabbed five rebounds. Eddie Rodriguez chipped in 13 points and Caleb Davis added 10 off the bench for Fruitland (16-11).
Freshman Tate Trevino led Buhl (10-16) with 25 points and five boards, while Kyler Kelly added 13 points and six rebounds.
2A Third Place Game | St. Maries 57, Kellogg 46
After nearly pulling off a big upset in the semifinal game against Melba on Friday, St. Maries rebounded with a 57-46 win over Kellogg in the 2A third place game Saturday afternoon.
Greyson Sands, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, led all scorers with 17 points and pulled down seven boards for St. Maries (20-5). Dillon Holder added 13 points and five rebounds.
Kellogg (19-9) was paced by Kolby Luna and Ripley Luna with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
2A Consolation Final | Cole Valley Christian 63, Ririe 49
Cole Valley shrugged off a slow start before building a 12-point lead by the end of the fourth quarter to dispatch Ririe 63-49 in the 2A consolation final Saturday morning.
Eli Kingery, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, led the Chargers (21-6) with 16 points, while Max Myers added 12 off the bench. Isaiah Holsinger also had 11 points.
1AD1 Third Place Game | Grace 50, Castleford 38
Peyton Reeves scored 11 points to lead Grace past Castleford 50-38 in the 1AD1 third place game Saturday afternoon.
Reeves earned Idaho Sports Player of the Game honors for Grace (22-5).
Ethan Roland led Castleford (17-7) with 15 points.
1AD1 Consolation Final | Potlatch 69, Carey 58
Jaxon Vowels scored 21 points to lead Potlatch to a 69-58 win over Carey in the 1AD1 consolation final Saturday morning.
Vowels, the Idaho Sports Player of the Game, added nine rebounds in the victory for Potlatch (20-7). Everett Lovell had 18, while Chase Lovell and Jack Clark added 11 points apiece.
Carsn Perkes had a game-high 37 points, including eight 3-pointers, to pace Carey (18-9). Owen Parke added 12.
1AD2 Third Place Game | Rockland 57, Watersprings 46
Rockland held Watersprings to just three points in the third quarter as the Bulldogs pulled away to win the 1AD2 third place game 57-46 Saturday afternoon.
Brandon Neal had 18 points and 14 rebounds to win Idaho Sports Player of the Game honors for Rockland (23-3). Brigham Permann chipped in with 18 points and four assists.
Watersprings (22-6) was led by Ryan Demkowics with 16 and Daniel Canfield with 11.
1AD2 Consolation Final | Council 48, Cascade 41
Porter McLinn scored 23 points to lead Council to a 48-41 win over Cascade in the 1AD2 consolation final Saturday morning.
McLinn also hit a trio of 3-pointers to pace Council (20-6) to win Idaho Sports Player of the Game honors, while Malachi Goodwin added 10 points.
Cascade (17-8) was led by Tyler Thurston with 23 points.
