LA GRANDE, Ore. – Despite coming off a postseason appearance and returning 10 starters, the College of Idaho was picked to finish sixth in the 2015 Cascade Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, announced this morning by the league office.
The Lady Yotes, who posted a 7-6-4 record during the 2014 season, received 97 voter points by the 12 league coaches.
Defending CCC regular-season champion, Northwest, claimed 10-of-12 first-place votes and earned the top spot, followed by Corban and newcomer, Carroll.
Southern Oregon was ranked fourth by the coaches, followed by Rocky Mountain and C of I.
The Coyotes open the season Sunday with a scrimmage at Treasure Valley CC, prepping for the season opener on Aug. 22 vs. UBC-Okanagan.
