On Wednesday, February 20, 2013 Mountain West Hoops Report, LLC launched their evaluation website at www.mountainwesthoops.com. The website, which provides player evaluations of boys high school basketball players, covers the entire Mountain West, stretching from Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon through Idaho, Montana and Wyoming and down to Northern Utah and Northern Nevada.

The website was created to address the recruiting needs of men's college basketball programs and the need for more awareness of high school basketball players in the Mountain West. With nearly 600 player evaluations already in the database, college coaches can search for players by name, state, graduation class, position and more. The number of players is expected to surpass 1,000 by August.

Players, whether they have been evaluated or not, can update their player pages with the specific information that college coaches need to help them with recruitment such as contact information, GPA & test scores and their coach's contact information. Plus, they can upload game film and highlight reels directly to their page, making it easy for college coaches to get a quick look at how they play.

Subscription plans range from $5.00 to $7.00 per month and anyone is welcome to tryout the website for free on a limited basis by taking advantage of the free 3-day trial. Players do not need to subscribe in order to be evaluated.

The website was created by Clint and Vince Hordemann, who have been evaluating and helping high school players find college roster spots for over 10 years. Along with a network of college coaches, they provide unbiased evaluations based on a player's strengths and weaknesses.

Also available on the website are articles on players from the Mountain West, a News and Notes feature and player ratings and rankings across the region.

The site also features free educational information about the recruiting process, including what college coaches are looking for, how to start and thrive in the recruiting process and a breakdown of scholarship information at every level from Division I to Community Colleges. For more information on Recruiting Education visit www.mountainwesthoops.com/education

Mountain West Hoops will also be hosting a Showcase Series at various Mountain West locations from April through May. Any high school player is welcome to participate. Participants will have the opportunity to be evaluated for the first time or improve the evaluation that they currently have. There are currently seven different Showcase Series events scheduled for Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.
