CDA vs Highland - I really didn't want to involve CDA in my Picks again, but how big is this game tonight against the Rams for the Vikings? They got absolutely rolled last week by the best team in Washington 71-20, got bumped down to #2 in the media poll behind Eagle and if they lose tonight they will drop even further because Highland is at #3 in the polls right now. Can Highland overcome the long bus ride and play tough?
Paul's Pick - Highland comes out strong and surprises CDA 24-17

Century vs Rigby - Not a lot of really good 4A match-ups tonight to choose from. Century is 2-2 and Rigby is 0-3. However, I have a long-standing tradition of picking against Century as their good luck charm so...
Paul's Pick - Rigby over Century 18-15

Sugar-Salem vs American Falls - Both teams are 3-1. Sugar lost to Firth in week 2 12-0 and the Beavers lost to West Side last week 41-22. Both teams got bumped in the 1st round of playoffs last year and 4-1 looks a LOT more impressive than 3-2.
Paul's Pick - Sugar-Salem over American Falls 28-21
2A
New Plymouth vs McCall - The Vandals shocked everyone last week by squeeking out a win at home against the defending 2A champs, Grangeville. NP has had great success the last couple of years and is sitting on a 2-1 record after a season opening loss to Payette. Both teams need this game for credibility. McCall needs to show last week's win wasn't a fluke and they are for real, and NO needs to show they can play with a top notch team, especially one in their own conference.
Paul's Pick - New Plymouth over McCall 14-8
1AD1
Butte County vs Grace - Both are undefeated. Both are favorites to contend for the 1AD1 championship in November. Both were 2A schools not so long ago, with Butte coming down just this year. 8-man football at it's best tonight.
Paul's Pick - Butte County over Grace 35-27
1AD2
Carey vs Mackay - The Carey Panthers are 1-2. Did you just feel the earth tremble a little? Mackay is 2-2, out-scoring their last two opponents 118-24. Carey HAS to win tonight to save their season from total collapsem especially since the worst appears to be behind them schedule-wise after losing to #1 Dietrich last week 30-14.
Paul's Pick - Mackay over Carey 44-32
