WHAT: Dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly-renovated Boise High School 1936 Gymnasium and Performing Arts Addition.
WHO: Boise High School students, staff, community members, Boise School Board members, Boise School District Administration, architects and construction company officials.
WHEN: Friday, May 10, 2019 at Boise High School from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Public tours will be provided from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: Boise High School, 1010 W. Washington St., Boise.
WHY: This 2017 bond -supported project provides students with a new modern state-of-the-art educational facility with larger classrooms, a modern gymnasium, locker rooms, weight room, wrestling room, more technology and improved safety and security features to help students learn in a safe, secure and supportive environment.
PHOTO & VIDEO OPPORTUNITIES: Musical presentation by Boise High School Choir, remarks by: Boise High School Senior Ruby Berliner ; Boise High School Music Teacher Laurel Talley ; Boise High School Principal Robb Thompson ; Board President Nancy Gregory ; and Superintendent Dr. Don Coberly . Public tours will also be provided of the newly-renovated 1936 gymnasium and performing arts addition.
