I can't believe it has been 10 years since I first drove up to CDA and met Big Al Williams, Athletic Director at North Idaho College. Al saw a need for a state-wide all star basketball game and decided it would be a great way to generate interest in NIC at the same time. What a great idea it turned out to be.
IdahoSports.com has been honored to be a part of these games every year since it started back in 2003. That was back before we were web casting. I think that first year I went up and took action photos.
Each year Al asks members of the state media to nominate the best SENIOR boys and girls basketball players. After that we are all given a ballot and we vote for the teams.
I am asking for YOUR help to nominate the best SENIOR athletes for the All Star games this year! If you are an Insider Zone member you can leave a comment at the bottom of the page.
