Team Preview

The 2014-15 edition of the Idaho Falls Lady Tigers are a young squad.

Very young.

"We have very limited varsity experience," said Britney Christensen, now in her 5th year as the head coach at Idaho Falls. "Every game on our schedule will be a challenge for us."

The Tigers graduated seven seniors from a squad that went 9-13 last year, missing out on the state playoffs.

Christensen hopes to improve in certain areas that will make her squad more successful.

"We hope to be a better shooting team," she said. 'We have good athleticism and should be a well-rounded team offensively with multiple players contributing."

An addition to the Tigers roster this year is 5'8 junior forward Madison Hillam, a player that Christensen said everyone needs to watch out for.

"She should have a big impact on us this season with her rebounding and scoring abilities," she said.

Idaho Falls hopes to push defenders out of their comfort zone moreso this year.

"We should be able to pressure the ball a lot more this year with our added quickness and depth," Christensen said.
