Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Sierra Spratling was our main offensive threat last year, averaging 10 points a game. Our team is very balanced and could have a different kid lead us in scoring every night. We are deep and every kid that steps on the floor will be an offensive threat. We hope to be more consistent than last year and shoot a higher percentage from both the field and the foul line. We also hope to be more of a threat from the perimeter.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Defensively, we will be led in the guard by Ta’Lee Rose and Jessie Harris and in the post by Sydney Brewer. We are quick and active and defense will be our team’s main focus.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
How Bad do you Want It?

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
The entire team has Varsity playing experience and we have a deep bench.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
We play both Snake River and North Fremont who were last years State Champions and neither team lost much at all.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Staying healthy and avoiding injuries.

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
I would add a shot clock.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
I love working with the kids and have a passion for basketball.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
The parents, community, and administration are all very supportive and the kids are great to coach!
