4 starters…Tess McClenahan, point guard, missed because of her ball handling skills; Jennifer Phillips, guard, missed for her speed, ball handling, and her heads up defense; Emily Taylor, post, missed for her height and quickness and her leadership on the court; Anna Shroeder, wing/ post, missed for her quickness.

Do you have any new incoming “impact” players?
We have a few incoming that I hope will impact our program!

We are going to have some really tough, quick defenders

Playing defense as a team. Working together to steal the ball, reading eachother’s moves.

As One!!!

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
These girls are fired up and ready to do whatever it takes to win

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
District Championship game….because we will have fought hard to get there. It is going to be a great game!

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Working as a team – player together as one!

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
Shot Clock

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
Because I love to deal with parents and drama. ? I love the sport and love to see basketball played the way it is supposed to be played. I love to see the girls catch basketball fever. I love it when it you can feel their heart and their desire on the court. I love the camaraderie of a team. I want to put my heart into them and allow them the opportunity to love the sport as much as I do!

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
The support of the community and fans. Our fans travel a long way to support our school! And they are willing to give anything to see the teams succeed.
