Who do you have coming back this year?
Tanner Harper,
6-0 190 SR returns at QB and will be asked to play a more important
role- He threw for 1900 yards as a junior (130-225 attempts 11
int, 13 td). Danny Freiburger 5-11 190 SR, teams leading rusher returns 216-1023 yds 11 tds. All State Josh Barclay 6-4 250 SR is a force to be reckoned with on both sides of the ball. 6-2 175 Nico Chavez leads the WR core. He broke Minico's all time receiving records with 56 total catches

As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
We are a multiple Wing T. We love to run the ball. Last year we averaged 26 points a game and rushed for 2000 yards.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
We are a Bend but Not Break Defense. Defensive Coordinator Steve Haugeberg and his staff have been the key to our success over the years. We give up very few points in a season.

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
Love. Team effort. Hardwork. Wins and losses are meaningless if we aren't training young men to become better employees, fathers, husbands, people

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
We will be traveling to Pocatello to play in the
Rocky Mountain Rumble versus Douglas HS, Minden NV week one. The following week we travel to Sky View, UT. Two very difficult games to start the season. We hope to represent --- our school, our
community, and Idaho in these games. We have won seven of the last nine GBW Conference Championships. We did not make the playoffs in 2013. It's the first time we have missed the playoffs since 2004. We are hoping to be in the mix again.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Conference is getting tougher every year. Twin Falls won the GBW Championship game in 2013. If we stay healthy, it should be a great year for the Spartans.

Coach's Team Summary:
If we stay healthy---we could make a run. Many experienced players return from the 2013 team and we have a solid junior class. We are hoping exciting playmaker JR Peyton Bailey 5-10 170 recovers from shoulder surgery and returns midseason. He was a GBW All Conference player as a sophomore on both sides of the football. Our community has rallied around our football team. Friday nights have a college like game atmosphere from tailgating, exciting pregame events, and fun halftime shows. It’s a tough atmosphere for opponents--- We have only lost 7 regular season home games since 2005.
