Full court pressure and improving more zone defensive threats.

This year we have a lot of returners with two plus years of varsity experiene.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Usually, the Valley vs. Declo game is always intense and a must see game!

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
It will be important to keep players healthy this year.

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school basketball?
I enjoy coaching because I love the game of basketball and love to teach the game to young athletes; I also love seeing players come together as individuals and work together for a team goal. The most rewarding part of coaching is seeing the athletes improve; and seeing their excitement when they achieve what they are striving for, whether as an individual or as a team. I believe coaching is such an important aspect in young adults lives, for the reason that it teaches them responsibility, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and being a positive role model and citizen on and off the court.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Valley is the best place to coach because of the great administration, as well as the student – athletes have such great work ethic, attitudes, and are just great overall kids to be around!
