As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Return sophomore Destiny Slocum 16ppg, 4 assist, 3 steals. District 3 player of the year. Strength: With our size we will be running an up tempo style of play. We are short and fast.

Offensive areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Shooting percentage. We need to finish our shots in the paint.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Again, because we are short and quick we will be utilizing a pressure defense.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
We will have to concentrate on boxing out our opponents to get proper positioning for defensive rebounding.

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
Great team chemistry and work ethic. Over the summer the players worked hard and dedicated their time towards basketball.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Rocky Mountain and Centennial district rivalry.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Putting pressure on our opponents on both ends of the floor.

If you could change one rule in high school basketball, what would it be?
30 second shot clock. Speeds up the game. College teams all play with a clock.

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Coaches, Players, parents, administration, and student body very supportive of the program.
