The IHSAA has released the following agenda for their board meeting set to take place on January 19, 2015 at the IHSAA offices in Boise.
ACTION AGENDA
1. Approve or deny amending Section 3, Employee Benefits, to change the policy of family coverage to
being able to purchase spouse or family coverage. Current employees will be grandfathered in under
the current policy.
2. Approve or deny the association sponsoring Heads Up Football as a practice model for member schools.
3. Approve or deny modifying the travel reimbursement formula back to the 2009-2010 school year levels.
4. Approve or deny the separation of 1A and 2A Cross Country into two classifications.
5. Approve or deny the 2015 representation to the State Volleyball Tournament with modifications as
needed.
6. Approve or deny the bracketing and pairing for the 2015 State Volleyball Tournament as drawn by
IHSAA policy.
7. Approve or deny the 2015 State Play-in Volleyball games, dates, times, and sites.
8. Approve or deny the 2015 representation to the State Soccer Tournament with modifications as needed.
9. Approve or deny the bracketing and pairing for the 2015 State Soccer Tournament as drawn by IHSAA
policy.
10. Approve or deny the 2015 State Play-in Soccer games, dates, times, and sites.
11. Approve or deny the 2015 representation to the State Tennis Tournament with modifications as needed.
12. Approve or deny the 2015 Football representation and bracketing with modifications as needed.
13. Approve or deny eliminating hardships for the State Dance and Cheer Championships.
14. Approve or deny limiting cheer teams to one stunt group at the district tournament.
15. Approve or deny Genesis Prep Academy gaining regular membership status starting with the 2015-2016
school year.
16. Approve or deny changing the allowable number of quarters in basketball from 80 to 84.
17. Approve or deny a $1.00 increase on individual ticket prices for all ticketed state events beginning with
the 2015-2016 school year.
18. Approve or deny a request from Salmon River Jr/Sr High School to modify rule 5-12-2 to allow 8th
graders to practice with high school teams.
19. Approve or deny allowing properly licensed chiropractors to perform athletic physicals.
20. Approve or deny modifying the existing hardship wording for a two-team district in cross country.
21. Approve or deny rewording the term “zero” week to “week one” for football scheduling.
22. Approve or deny the 2016 representation to the State Wrestling Tournament with modifications as
needed.
23. Approve or deny the 2016 representation to the State Basketball Tournament with modifications as
needed.
24. Approve or deny the bracketing and pairing for the 2016 State Basketball Tournament as drawn by
IHSAA policy.
25. Approve or deny the sites, dates, and times for the 2016 State Basketball play – in games.
26. Approve or deny Regular membership for Ridgevue High School for the 2016-17 school year.
27. Approve or deny the following cooperative agreements.
