Dan Charters will be the fourth head coach to take the sideline at Marsing in the same number of years, with just two wins the end result of that time frame.

It is a tall task for the new coach, who will be looking to get the football program back on the winning track.

Quarterback Wes Ireland is one of the players who Charters is expected to rely on to lead the way on offense, with Wylliam Moore a key contributor at receiver and Adonis Stelzried in the mix at running back.

The Huskies struggled to put points on the board a year ago, getting held to 18 or fewer in every matchup. The defense also gave up 33 or more points in every game except in the 18-6 win in week two over Payette.

Defensive end Cash Sevy will be relied upon to protect the edge and also to apply pressure on the quarterback, something which is a key to forcing the opposition into mistakes.

Marsing last had a winning season in 2013, with the program finishing 5-4 during that campaign.

To begin 2019, the Huskies will host the Wendell Trojans. Marsing then has a bye week before heading to Payette on September 13.
