Wallace went 11-10 last season and will look to improve in the 2015-16 campaign. The Miners bring back senior shooting guard Justin Bayer and will look to complement him with two rising sophomores, guards Matt Farkas and Hunter Gust.

Beyond that Wallace will have some good depth and shooting ability that should hold it in good stead going forward. Offensively the Miners hope to be able to score in transition and rely on the shooting of Bayer and Co. Getting higher-percentage looks, and crashing the offensive glass, will be a point of emphasis this season.

Defensively it’s all about ball pressure, which Wallace hopes to improve that area in order to get into transition more regularly.

Wallace is young but coach Corey Miller says constant hustle and applying talent will be the difference in working toward a district championship.
