As a team, what are your offensive strengths?
Our Strength this year on offense should be our front 5, starting with Adam Hepworth who has put the time in the weight room getting stronger and going on his own to extra camps to get better. We are returning all but two from last year. We need to have one of our running backs (David Carver, Michael Dayley) step up to fill the shoes of Travis Osterhout. We also need to get Coltin Millward comfortable in the pocket early in the season so he can have success throwing the ball.

As a team, what are your defensive strengths?
Again our strength is going to be our down 4 linemen. With key players being Adam Hepworth, Logan Hollins, Chris Liggett,Austin Hobbs, Victor Castro. Our secondary will be also another strength with Coltin Millward and Emilio Polanco.

Defensive Areas you hope to improve on over last year:
Flying to the football, Tackling the ball carrier and assignment and alignment

Does your team have a motto/theme for the upcoming season?
“Family” Play together, win together and lose together

What are you most excited about in regards to this year’s team?
I have been with these boys now for 3 years they know what I expect of them and how things should be done. They have been working hard in the weight room and have started to put things in order to become a great team.

For the fans, what is the must-see game of the year on your schedule?
Burley Vs. Minico Cross River Rivalry We haven’t beat them in 9 or 10 years.

What is the ‘X-Factor’ to having success this season as a team?
Special Teams, Staying healthy and doing our job and having fun doing it

Besides the pay, the fame and the glory, why do you coach high school football?
Football has taught me so many valuable life lessons: teamwork, dedication, hard work, facing and overcoming adversity, successes and failures, sacrifices the list goes on. I just want to show kids football is directly related to life outside of sports. There is so much to learn from football and sports in general that can help you later on in life

What makes your school the best place to coach for?
Great community support and support from the administration and staff.
